WESTERN SYDNEY PHILHARMONIC

Play. Feel. Live.

WestPhil acknowledges the traditional custodians of this land, the Darug people, and their Elders past, present and emerging. We acknowledge and respect their continuing culture and the contribution they make to the life of our nation, city and region.

WHAT WE DO

West Phil (or Western Sydney Philharmonic in full) aims to bring students and top professional performers together, to learn from each other and to create thrilling, dynamic and memorable performances.

What started off as an idea to give the young people of western Sydney an opportunity to learn and play beautiful music, is now West Phil - western Sydney's very own orchestra.

We do this through youth-oriented camps culminating in performances that captivate our audiences, as well as other one-off performances and events. And because we're a not-for-profit entity, all the money we make is put back into West Phil for the benefit of young, potential musicians of  western Sydney and elsewhere.

If you're enchanted by music, come to one of our concerts or please get in touch to talk to us about how you can support us in other ways.
