We’re excited to welcome back our energetic and visionary Artistic Director Peter Clark in June as we continue the West Phil Chamber Orchestra’s flagship series: The Advocates.

Following the resounding success of Part 1, we now proudly present The Advocates: Part 2—an even deeper dive into the unique voices shaping our musical landscape. This second instalment builds on the energy and inspiration of our launch, expanding the conversation around music, meaning, and artistic leadership in the 21st century.

In Part 2, we turn our focus to the vital contributions of Australian composers—exploring how their work reflects, challenges, and reshapes our cultural identity. We are honoured to present music by two of Australia’s most distinctive and important voices: Anne Cawrse and Graeme Koehne, whose works speak with clarity, originality, and emotional depth.

Joined once again by a team of outstanding professional musicians handpicked by Peter, you’ll also experience the enduring brilliance of J.S. Bach and Samuel Barber, creating a powerful dialogue between past and present, global and local.

Join us this June for The Advocates: Part 2 and join our ongoing conversation in this evolving journey of artistic leadership and musical advocacy.

Expect Excitement; Embrace the Highest Artistry; Be inspired to become a leading Musical Advocate.
